Expanded User Settings Configuration

I don’t mind the manual side of things, after all every dev does it differently, which makes it hard for any dev trying to provide a too like this, or any other number of utilities sims. I should note that a tool like this is great, and I don’t want to come off as demanding or ungrateful. You’re making a tool that I couldn’t and providing options for the community. I hope that you take these as observations to help useability, and opening to as wider audience as possible. And of course, feel free to let me know if I am being a git, this is your tool that you have developed free of charge (even though you mentioned a pro version, I would pay for it). I really like it so far. My ideas below are aimed at those who like to tailor their experience.

TL;DR - Along with a Liveries category I would really love to see vehicle specific categories, and a Library category.

The four default categories are a great start, especially for those with smaller libraries of addons. For those like myself, having the freedom to organise things in a way that works for me is important, I won’t be the only one - as everyone is different. One of main observations is, larger libraries of addons are going to be a challenge to organise with just four categories. Another thing affecting this, which is out the control of this software, are addons with no associated image. While you have provided a way to fix this, more categories even if manually organised, is another tool to help with that confusion.

I like how MSFS2024 organises the aircraft and vehicles (presentation is a different story); Airplane, Helicopters, Gliders etc. Another option here is maybe subcategories or tags, obviously I don’t know if your software is coded in a way to allow this. The image of my file structure for my addons kind of highlights what I am trying describe (I’m a visual thinker). Not to say I have the best solution for categories either, just this is what works for me. (also worth ignoring the dev specific folders, this is just because of the way they install)

The other group of categories that would be great are Libraries. As I am sure you know, most payware, and a lot of freeware, use common libraries of assets that don’t need to be amongst sceneries, after all you have created Sets to show links between addons. This group of addons seems to mostly be classed as scenery, but tend to clutter it rather a lot, often ambiguously named, and have no associated picture. All of which compounds the issue.
