Integrating SimComment SDK could allow PERFLIGHT to enable the following types of functionality:

  • Detecting the status of the simulator (running or not running)

  • User state (in menus, flight loaded)

  • Flight telemetry (on the ground, en route)

    Power user JW recommends waiting on this because:
    Sim connect isn’t so bad now on 2024. They seem to have fixed a lot but to be honest I’d hang tight. They’re adding a lot of new variables with SU5 so you could put a lot of work into it and then they change it.
